Aaah the French Riviera, who has never heard about it? Let’s talk more specifically about Nice, you know, where the most famous promenade in the world is. Well, I stayed at the Meridien Nice, which is located on “La promenade des Anglais” along the seafront facing the ‘Baie des Anges’.

So as said previously, the hotel is located in Nice, on the Promenade des Anglais, facing this translucent and turquoise water. A little bit of Florida in France, who said Europe isn’t fabulous? This hotel is perfectly located, close to everything: restaurants, facing the beach, a stone’s throw from Place Masséna. But above all barely 30 minutes from Monaco! Not to mention the parking, which gives direct access to the hotel (this one is certainly chargeable but how easy it is to get directly into the hotel!). Don’t panic, you can park in front of the hotel to unload your suitcases (the valet is super nice and helpful, moreover)
My incredible Room
Although we spend little time there, the bedroom is still a place where we rest and in which we should feel good. I was greeted in a suite with an incredible terrace! You can admire the sea view from your King Size bed, what more could you ask for? Dressing room, office space, private deckchairs and small table on the terrace, spacious bathroom, perfection! The bed is incomparably comfortable, a pile of pillows available and this more than breathtaking view, one of the most beautiful nights of my life watching the stars above the sea from my bed.

And what’s there after the night? The morning! And who says morning, says breakfast! I have to admit, this is the moment I look forward to the most when traveling. I never eat lunch in Belgium with my intermittent fasting so I might as well tell you that when I eat lunch, I like to enjoy it 1000%. Considering the magnificent view from our terrace, we chose to opt for breakfast in the room. We ordered everything to be sure I could advise you and I have absolutely nothing to say, you have to taste everything! Whether you are more salty (eggs, bacon, toast) or sweeter (pastries, croissants, pancakes) you willn’t be disappointed. Who doesn’t dream of such a breakfast? The only question to ask is in bed or on the terrace?
Hotel facilities in Meridien Nice
I like that there is everything in my hotel, my days are busy when I travel. I try to discover as much as possible in a short time and so when I come back to the hotel to get ready, I like to have the facilities. Like a restaurant where to eat without having to leave the hotel (especially with such a view!) Or a rooftop where to have a drink, work on my computer etc. And of course a swimming pool! The Meridien Nice ‘s swimming pool is on the top floor of the hotel, it’s not very large but again offers a breathtaking view.
In short, you’ll understand that I can only recommend you this hotel. All the facilities are available, the location of the hotel is perfect, the view is just amazing and the staff are just lovely. Very available, discreet and attentive.
