Aaah Paris ! Now that I have shared my 10 favourite Instagram spots with a view on the Eiffel Tower (just here) and an article on my favourite neighbourhood Montmartre (just here), let’s get down to business!
Where to eat, drink and stay in Paris? I think that eating well, drinking or staying in a good place is as important as to know pretty instagrammable spots. Here is a small list of my favourite places
Places where to eat in Paris
Cléo restaurant is part of the hotel “Le Narcisse blanc” which is located a few steps from the Invalides. Local suppliers are highlighted through a gourmet cuisine. This restaurant offers a delicious and affordable menu during lunch from Monday to Friday. The price-quality ratio is really excellent and the Parisian atmosphere is truly present. The decoration, service and dishes of this restaurant really charmed me.
Limon restaurant is part of ‘” Hotel Marignan” located a few steps from the Champs Elysees. Its menu pays tribute to Latin America by honouring citrus fruits. I went there on a Sunday night and during these times the proposed cuisine is much simpler and less refined that week. The prices are quite correct and the quality of the products served is irreproachable.
La Maison de la poutine : When Quebec settles in Paris! Poutine is a typical Quebec dish made with tasty fries, cheese curds, a secret sauce and a divine garnish. You have the choice between different poutines including a vegetarian one. The setting is very colourful and let you plunge in Canada for a meal. They have two different addresses, it’s up to you to see which one is closer.
Places where to have a drink in Paris
The Limon also offers a menu with cocktails and mocktails all more crazy than the others! I can assure you that this is the place where I tasted the best and most beautiful mocktail of all my life. The Barman never hesitate to move to your table to meet you. It enables him to create a cocktail especially regarding your desires & your tastes.
The Sofitel Baltimore bar is very nice and this is where I decided to warm up. A chic and cosy atmosphere worthy of the Sofitel range. We let ourselves tempt by their cocktails. Although we thought of a hot chocolate the atmosphere was an invitation to relax and cut yourself off from noisy Paris by sipping a nice homemade cocktail.
Places where to stay in Paris
The Grand Pigalle Hotel is very contemporary and offers magnificent rooms with balconies. That’s what I liked the most in this hotel. Great location, close to metro stations and restaurants in a popular festive and mysterious area this makes it the perfect place to stay.
The Maison Favart represents all the charm of Paris in one establishment. From the reception to the luggage service to the spa and breakfast, everything was perfect!
The rooms are perfect in terms of size and equipment and have a very Parisian style that I loved! As I organized my city trip at the end of October (and had a bad weather) I doubly appreciated their Spa after a cold day. It has a swimming pool, a sauna but above all an incredible hydro massage bed. And of course for the bravest a gym is at your disposal!
I really appreciated each of these addresses and I couldn’t recommend one more than another. I’m sure at least one of them is for you and is waiting for you in Paris!
Love,
