Coming to Bali and not stepping into a spa at least once… honestly, I don’t get it. Whether you’re here to slow down, recover after long days in the sun, fix your skin, your nails or just your mood, Canggu is basically a playground for wellness. Massages, facials, ice baths, lymphatic drainage, yoga, breathwork… you name it.
After spending months in Bali and testing way too many treatments no regrets, I realised something. Not all spas are the same. Some are amazing for nails, others for deeper treatments, others just for the full experience..
Goldust Spa, the one I always come back to !
I already talked about this spa 2 or 3 years ago in another article. And still today… it’s the only one I keep going back to every time I come to Bali.
Which says a lot because Canggu is full of new places, new concepts, new trendy spas… but Goldust Spa never disappoints. At first, I went for their famous gold facial. The 24k gold mask that you see everywhere. And yes, it’s not just for pictures, your skin really looks different after.
But over time, I started going for other things. Now it’s clearly one of my go to for mani and pedi. It’s clean, precise, never rushed and always consistent. And I like that they don’t just do your nails and that’s it. You always have small extras like the collagen eye mask or the head and shoulder massage. You leave relaxed without expecting it.
I also tested again some treatments like their deep cleansing facial and anti cellulite and honestly… same feeling as before. It just works. The atmosphere is also a big part of it. Soft voices, ginger tea, small details… nothing feels forced, everything is calm.
It’s just a place you trust. And when you travel a lot, that’s exactly what you need.
Ameline Spa, my second fav Spa in Canggu !

This one was not planned at all. But if you stay in Bali for a bit, you will understand quickly… the water here is not your best friend. Especially for your hair ! So I decided to book this Spa in Canggu for a hair treatment. It’s called Ameline Spa.
I chose the Deep Cleansing and Hydrating Hair Ritual by Davines and honestly, my hair needed it more than I thought. It deeply hydrates the scalp, repairs and brings back softness to dry hair.
But what I didn’t expect is that it’s not just a hair treatment. You also get a full relaxing moment with back, neck, shoulder and foot massage. So you’re not just waiting with a mask on your hair, you actually enjoy it. And of course… I didn’t stop there.
I also tried their Soul Connection treatment. It’s a mix of body massage, coconut scrub and a face massage with rose oil. Very slow, very calming. The kind of treatment where you don’t even realise you fell asleep.
Ameline feels a bit different from other spas in Canggu. More minimal, more quiet, less busy. You go there when you want something a bit more focused, more intentional.
Aetheria Natural Healing Spa, something a bit more special

This one is not a classic spa in Canggu. I went there to try their Aromatherapy and Sound Bath Healing and I didn’t really know what to expect.
It’s inspired by Himalayan and Tibetan traditions, using sound vibrations with singing bowls combined with essential oils. And honestly… it’s hard to explain but you feel it. The sounds, the vibrations, the smell of the oils… everything works together. You feel your body relax but also your mind. It’s very different from a normal massage.
The place is also very peaceful, beautifully decorated, very calm. From the moment you arrive, it already starts. They take care of your feet, you choose your oil and I loved that the smell was strong enough to really feel it during the whole treatment.
The heated mattress was also such a good detail. Everything is made to make you disconnect. We also got a welcome drink and after the treatment a tea with a small cake. Simple things but it makes the experience even better.
Perfect if you want something more immersive, more sensory.
How I book most of my Spa in Canggu (Bali)

Quick thing because I get this question a lot. For most of my treatments in Bali, I actually use ClassPass. It allows you to book massages, facials, workouts, yoga classes… a bit of everything and often at a better price than booking directly.
It’s also very practical when you stay a few days or a few weeks and you don’t want to commit to one place only. You can test different spas, different concepts, different vibes. That’s actually how I discovered a few places here.
If you want to try it, I have a link that gives you 20 credits to start, which is usually enough to test your first class or treatment.
Wondersculpt, when you want real results

Completely different vibe here. Wondersculpt is where I go for my body treatments like madérotherapy or lymphatic drainage.
It’s not really a spa moment, it’s more about results. If you want to sculpt your body, improve circulation or just feel lighter, this is a really good place. The treatments are more intense than a normal massage, but in a good way. You feel that it’s working.
And with time, you can really see the difference. So it really depends what you’re looking for.
Relaxation or results.
A last thing before you choose
I could easily talk about many more places. There are so many good Spa in Canggu and new ones open all the time. But I prefer to keep it simple and share the ones I really go back to.
Because at the end of the day, when you travel, you don’t want to waste time testing random places. Or maybe you do… and sometimes that’s also part of the experience.
If you want more Bali spots, restaurants or hidden places, I share way more on Instagram, especially in my highlights.
Love,
