Luxurious Villa Experience
I have to admit, it’s probably the most luxurious hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. I had seen photos of the pool villas on their Instagram. Yet, I was completely unprepared for such refinement, a villa so spacious, and such breathtaking views from every corner! Our bed overlooking the pool and ocean, the spacious wardrobe, the bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower, and the most stunning bathtub with a view I’ve ever seen in my life. The outdoor space with the private infinity pool and super comfortable outdoor lounge area, all of it exceeded my expectations. In short, it truly felt like paradise on earth. Raffles Seychelles spoils its guests with an array of dining experiences. Losean Restaurant offers an evening menu inspired by the Indian Ocea, while Sushi Room provides a relaxed atmosphere. Curieuse Restaurant presents an elegant island backdrop for enjoying diverse Asian flavors under candlelit palms. Moreover, you can indulge in Private Dining options like romantic beachfront dinners, starlit picnics, or even an amazing floating breakfast !
Raffles Seychelles – Sundowner at Anse Lazio
Speaking of unique experiences and private dining, we had the privilege of enjoying the ‘Sundowner experience‘ at Anse Lazio. One of the standout memories of our stay ! A romantic picnic set against the stunning backdrop of one of the island’s most captivating beaches. Savoring champagne and delightful treats while watching the sun set below the horizon was so romantic ! It was absolutely perfect for a proposal! If you’re thinking about popping the question, consider this experience. You’re alone on the beach with a personal butler ensuring your comfort and that your champagne glass is never empty.
Experience Coordination
We thoroughly enjoyed the dedicated experience coordination team at Raffles Seychelles. From guided tours of the Vallée de Mai with knowledgeable local guides to authentic Creole cooking classes and a day as a ranger. They also offer exploration of La Digue (my absolute favorite, especially the stunning Anse Source d’Argent, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches), deep-sea fishing adventures, and much more. There’s certainly something for everyone! And if not, the hotel itself is a destination in its own right, we were reluctant to leave, believe me! Haha
What I really loved in Raffles Seychelles
I definitely still have a childlike wonder, and I absolutely loved the little touch of the phone in your room that calls a ‘buggy’ to take you wherever you want! You usually only see that in movies. Well, Raffles did it, and they’re available 24/7, just like room service and reception. This is undoubtedly what justifies their 5-star rating. Their exceptional service, availability, and ability to anticipate your needs before you even notic”e them. They go above and beyond to ensure you’re completely satisfied around the clock.
