Following my recent visit to Amsterdam, I thought I’d create a list of my favorite places to eat. I am passionate about travel but my first Instagram (which still exists – in French) was based on food! Here is a short list of places I ate well.

Coffee & Coconuts is the celebration of the abundance of life. A surf spirit and a casual place. I found an atmosphere similar to the one felt in Bali. The bar is really beautiful, and the decoration is so pretty.

Right at the heart of the beautiful buzzing city of Amsterdam, from early breakfast to late night dinner, this place is ideal and very spacious. Wholesome and delicious food is offered.

Vegan junk food bar

It’s the colorful restaurant that everyone is waiting for. It’s the new vegan hotspot of Amsterdam and there is no doubt about it! They have three different restaurants and offer healthy, vegan food and more. Each location has its own awesome menu and atmosphere. It is definitely worth trying them all.

Perfectly prepared, colorful and delicious food is waiting for you at one of the three restaurants in the capital. What’s more, the walls are hyper design and Instagram photos are accepted!

Stach

STACH is a food store with ready-to-use products for every moment of the day and an innovative assortment. They have more than 16 stores so no matter where you are in Amsterdam, there is probably one close to you and their meringues are delicious!

This is the kind of store that everyone dreams about. They have incredible food and drinks on sale. It’s very difficult to not buy everything. Vegan chocolate bars, ginger drinks, fresh muffins and cupcakes, organic bread, sandwiches etc. If you don’t have time to sit down at a restaurant to eat something, this kind of store should please you.

Mookpancakes

Green, beige, space and a clean design wait you here. The vibe is mellow urban featuring mostly throwback hip-hop. And they’re offering it all with our dedicated brand of generous hospitality. They work with a lot of organic products which means they keep more of their nutrients, fiber and vitamins which makes them very healthy.

They offer pancakes but also avocado toasts, salads and healthy juices. What I like about them is their frankness but especially the fact of being able to create my own pancake. You can choose from a variety of foods such as Bacon, Hummus, Avocado, Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Fruits. Doesn’t it make you hungry?

Pluk

Pluk is a mix between a shop, a bakery and a place to take a Brunch. Very noisy but cozy, this place is quite famous. There is very nice decoration for sale as well as chocolates with Amsterdam packaging. Whether to eat or buy your gifts, this place is a must and is close to the center.

You can watch their Instagram and drool in front of their unicorn smoothie bowl, carrot cake, muffins, cupcakes or healthy juices. I didn’t have the chance to have a table. It was overbooked and too noisy at the time to enjoy a delicious brunch.
